Bonnie Wade, Richard and Rhoda Goldman Chair in Interdisciplinary Studies and Chair of the Department of Music, will read from her work, be interviewed about her writing process, and take questions from the audience. Among Prof. Wade's books are "Music in Japan"; "Thinking Musically: Experiencing Music, Expressing Culture"; "Imaging Sound: An Ethnomusicological Study of Music, Art and Culture in Mughal India." This is an opportunity to hear from an experienced writer how she researches, drafts, and revises her work.
